About Keith Abel
Keith Abel Florida is a proud resident of Broward County and a Florida House District 98 candidate, bringing a lifetime of service, leadership, and accountability to his campaign. After graduating from Miramar High School, Keith served more than 30 years in the United States Army, including deployments across Germany, the Republic of Korea, Cuba, Africa, and in combat zones during Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military career was defined by discipline, responsibility, and leadership for working families — values that continue to guide his approach to public service. Through his experience as a paratrooper and leader, Keith developed a clear understanding of the importance of transparent leadership Florida, fair systems, and accountability at every level. He holds a Master of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Marketing, along with advanced certifications in operational contract support and financial accountability. Keith has remained deeply engaged in his community, working alongside residents, veterans, and local candidates in Broward County Florida to address real challenges like the Florida housing crisis. He serves as President of the Broward County Veteran Caucus and is an active member of VFW Post 8195, American Legion Post 222, and the Kiwanis Club. His work has included involvement with the Broward County Consumer Protection Board, the Oakland Park Board of Adjustment, and several community-based initiatives focused on how to improve life in Florida communities.
